We spent years establishing the most effective way to pay individuals around the world, and we continually updated our processes to be the most efficient.
Where are your team members located?
We have connections around the globe that allow us to set up talent almost anywhere, however most of our team is in Brazil because of culture, timezone, talent, and cost.
Where is your office?
We are a fully remote organization. Amplifi was born as a remote company prior to the pandemic, and the acclimation of the world to remote work made it an easy choice to stay that way.
Are they your team members, or do you subcontract out?
They are our team members. We do not subcontract to other staffing organizations.
Are you willing to subcontract under other staffing firms to help them fill roles?
Yes, it is very common for US only staffing firms to work with us to provide nearshore resources to their customers.
Which countries do you work with?
Our customers are primarily US, and our team is primarily Latin America.
What is your screening process?
We begin by sourcing candidates. Our first step is searching our database, which contains over 500 active candidates. If we find someone pre-validated in the database, it can fast-track the process, allowing them to start quickly. Simultaneously, we always ask for internal referrals from our existing technical team.
Next, every candidate takes an initial English test via our Amplifi System. After that, they move on to a profiling interview with our HR team to assess their soft skills and social abilities. Following this, we conduct a technical validation based on a set of predefined questions agreed upon with the client. Candidates can be rejected at any stage of this process.
If a candidate passes all these steps, they're introduced to the client, who is encouraged to conduct their own interview. We're flexible with how clients prefer to assess the candidates we present. If everything aligns, we move forward with contract signing, and the candidate is officially placed on the client's team!
Who is my primary contact?
When you work with us, you will have an account executive that will support you for as long as we work together.
What is the main time zone in Brazil?
Brazil's primary timezone is UTC-3, and we no longer observe daylight saving time. However, there are regions that operate in UTC-4, which aligns with Eastern Time for most of the year. There's also a small portion of the country in UTC-5.
How long does the hiring process typically take?
It typically takes up to two weeks to present the first candidates to the client.
Is my intellectual property safe?
Your data is generally protected by NDAs signed between Amplifi Staffing and our clients, as well as between contractors and Amplifi Staffing. Additionally, assessing and managing this type of risk is a key component of our hiring process.
How do you handle holidays, days off, and vacations?
We encourage our team to observe U.S. holidays, but we also allow flexibility for team members to take time off that coordinates with your needs.
What if the new team member isn't a good fit?
We have a 2 week satisfaction guarantee to get to know your new team member. Not happy within 2 weeks? You owe nothing.
Can we use your Amplifi System software for our own business?
Our custom HR software, Amplifi System, isn't available publicly yet, but send us an email at paulo.rieck@amplifilabs.com if you would like a notification when that changes.

Clients can begin an engagement with just a single professional.
Can I interview the candidates before signing a contract?
Absolutely! We encourage clients to conduct interviews so they can assess both the hard and soft skills of the candidate.
How transparent is the process?
We're happy to share the Kanban board that outlines our hiring process. We operate with complete transparency, providing as much information as possible to our clients upon request.
Do the team members speak English?
Yes, the required level of English is flexible and depends on the client's needs. Junior professionals may not have as much experience speaking English daily compared to senior professionals. The client's specific English requirements are typically established during the initial phases of the hiring process.
How do I know if the new team member will be a good teammate?
At Amplifi Staffing, we make an effort to gather information about the teams our professionals will be joining. This helps us identify the best candidate profile for your team—someone who will feel comfortable with their teammates and stay motivated in the new work environment.
How does the caliber of talent compare to that of US engineers and designers?
Latin America's engineering talent is phenomenal, and Brazil's design ecosystem is arguably better than the US. It's a fantastic place to get great team members.
